Birds and Wildlife

Greenacres sits amongst some of the UK's most fertile and beautiful countryside, home to a huge variety of plants, insects, birds and mammals.

At different times of the season there are different things to see. We aren't serious naturalists or in any way expert, but we do love and cherish the local wildlife.

Here is a list of the birds and mammals identified within a mile of the campsite, around Barrow Lane, Redlake, Hearty Gate, Long Drove and Launcherley. The list is not exhaustive – new species are seen quite often, so please tell us if you have any to add.
